Sometimes good cooking is more about knowing how to assemble great things than spending hours in the kitchen. For example: opening up a can of Pillsbury biscuits and turning it into
pizza rather than just baking it off into biscuits. This versatile grocery staple inspires us over and over again when it comes to getting an easy dinner on the table with flavor so crowd-pleasing, it almost always ensures a success.
Forget stretching out pizza dough. To prepare this recipe, pop open a can of biscuits and separate it into individual biscuits. All you have to do is cut each one into 6 pieces and toss with some pizza sauce, mozzarella, chopped up pepperoni, fresh basil, and there you go! You’ve got a flaky, buttery pepperoni pizza on your hands.
This recipe calls for store-bought pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella along with pepperoni, but feel free to get creative with the mix-ins. Use your favorite cheese and swap out chopped veggies for the pepperoni. Change up the herbs with whatever you’ve got on hand. Seriously, the toppings possibilities are endless with this low-fuss, one-skillet recipe.
