Despite the fact that
Gordon Ramsay and wife Tana welcome their sixth child just three months ago—and swore they were “done” expanding their brood—the longtime Master Chef host is already hinting at baby number number seven.
In a recent People interview, Ramsay revealed that his four-year-old son Oscar has been asking for another sibling. “This morning, Oscar said, ‘Wouldn’t it be nice if Jesse and I had a little sister.’ And I spat my Cheerios out. So yeah, I had to get up from the table and walk away,” Ramsay told the outlet. “I didn’t wait to see Tana’s reaction. I literally coughed my Cheerios out all over the table. So yeah, listen, who knows, right?”
That’s certainly not a no, Gord??
ICYMI, the 57-year-old celeb chef quietly welcomed his sixth child, Jesse James Ramsay, in November 2023. The couple kept the pregnancy entirely under wraps.
“Jesse’s really helped bring everyone even closer,” he said of the newborn. “And then that level of responsibility again, is just even more exciting. I want to be six times better as a dad than I was twenty-five years ago to Megan.”
Gordon and Tana announced Jesse’s birth in a celebratory Instagram late last year, writing, “what an amazing birthday present please welcome Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs 10z whopper!! One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls… Done 👊🏼❤️❤️.”
Despite Ramsay’s previous proclamation that the family was “done” having kids, it should hardly come as a surprise that he’s already hinting at another. Just earlier this month, he said that having six kids was always the goal.
“That was the dream. That was the dream we first set out,” Ramsay said, before adding that fatherhood the sixth time around is just as “extraordinary,” according to Entertainment Tonight.
“Really extraordinary, just blessed,” he continued while gushing over his three month old. “I’m also sure I’ll be the oldest dad at the drop-off at school, so I’ll keep my cap and glasses on.”
