Taylor Swift might not be performing at this year’s Super Bowl, she will (hopefully? Fingers crossed!) be in attendance to cheer on her BF Travis Kelce.
And since that’s all anyone can talk about (no seriously, people are mapping her flight route from Tokyo), Swift squad member Blake Lively just dropped Taylor-themed cocktail recipes for your Super Bowl LVIII festivities.
The Betty Buzz/Betty Booze founder released five cocktail recipes, each with a name that puns on a Taylor song. Now let’s get into how to actually make the bevvies for your own Super Bowl party.
Karma Is a Rye on the Chiefs
- 1 Bottle Betty Buzz Sparkling Lemon Lime
- 1.5oz Whiskey or Bourbon
- Pomegranate Juice
- Agave to Taste
Add fresh ice to your shaker. Toss in 1.50 ounces of either whiskey or bourbon (dealer’s choice!) with pomegranate juice and agave. Shake until shaker is icy. Then, you’ll pour the cocktail over fresh ice into a highball glass and top with Betty Buzz Sparkling Lemon Lime. Garnish with a cherry or lime wedge.
Better Than Revenger (49ers Version)
- 1/2 Bottle Betty Buzz Tonic Water
- 1.5oz Aperol
- 1oz Orange Juice
- .5oz Simple Syrup
Add fresh ice to a large coupe glass and splash a generous amount of Aperol over it. Add a squeeze of orange juice and dash of simple syrup, before pouring Betty Buzz Meyer Tonic Water over top. Stir to combine.
Loving Them Was Red
- 1 Bottle Betty Buzz Sparkling Grapefruit
- 1.5oz Vodka (if desired or hold for an non-alcoholic option)
- 1oz Cranberry Juice
- 3 Dashes Angosturra Bitters
- Agave to Taste
Add fresh ice, vodka, cranberry juice, and agave to your shaker and shake until the icy. Strain over ice into a rocks glass and finish with Betty Buzz Sparkling Grapefruit. Toss in 3 dashes of Angosturra Bitters, too.
Gold Rush Spritz
- 1/2 Bottle Betty Buzz Meyer Lemon Club Soda
- 1.5oz Tequila
- Pineapple Juice (as much as desired)
- Pineapple Slice to Garnish
Add fresh ice to a highball glass and pour in your tequila (if desired). Add a generous amount of pineapple juice over ice and finish with Betty Buzz Meyer Lemon Club Soda on top. Stir to mix.
End Game LVII
- 1/2 Bottle Betty Buzz Meyer Lemon Club Soda
- Beer of your Choice (a light lager, pilsner, or a non-alcoholic beer to keep it zero proof)
Pour Beer into a highball glass and add a large splash of Betty Buzz Meyer Lemon Club Soda. That’s it.
