While we *already* knew that
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce shared a New Year’s Eve smooch at midnight (swoon, aww, etc.), the Kansas City Chiefs tight end just dropped new deets on the pair’s festive evening during the latest episode of his podcast, New Heights, Page Six reports.
“It was fun,” Travis said of the Chiefs’ New Year’s Eve matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, in which both girlfriend Taylor and his mom Donna Kelce were in attendance to cheer the team on. “And then we all got to celebrate New Year’s together. It was cool man, to have all the friends and family. I think I had over 50, 55, people come in for this one.”
Kelce and ~his girls~ reportedly partied at The American Restaurant in KC, alongside teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife (slash Tay’s bestie) Brittany. The couple was even caught on camera sharing a buzzed about midnight kiss.
Fans flooded the comment section to gush over Swift and Kelce. “They’re gonna get married this year,” one user wrote, while another chimed in, writing, “Hope Taylor has found her true love this time.”
“Oh hunni they’re in loveee,” a third person wrote.
If there was ever any question about how serious the couple has become, the holiday season surely cleared that up. Taylor was spotted in Travis’ suite for the team’s Christmas day game against the Raiders, alongside her mom, dad, brother, and Kelce’s dad, Ed.
And while we don’t know *exactly* when first introductions were made, Taylor had already spent lots of time with Donna and Ed Kelce prior. In fact, Ed praised Swift as a “very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman” whose intelligence “comes through right away.”
“We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around,” he continued to the outlet. “And I’m thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo. She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot.”
Mama Kelce, meanwhile, described Travis as “happier than [she has] seen him in a long time,” while adding that Swift is “a very, very nice person.”
