Starbucks is tapping into its generous side with a new freebie that encourages customers to give back this holiday season.
If you visit Starbucks on a Saturday or Sunday this month, you’ll receive a free hot chocolate when you order a grande drink. That means a free hot chocolate for your little cousin, your favorite co-worker, or even grandma. It can even mean a free hot chocolate for yourself (no judgement here!).
To redeem the freebie, all you have to do is place your order in a Starbucks cafe or in their drive-through. The deal, which gets you an 8 oz. hot chocolate, ends on December 31.
And the deals don’t stop there! On Thursdays in December (from noon to 6 p.m.), you can receive 50 percent off any drink of your choice. And with a new holiday drink menu, there’s plenty of festive options to choose from.
The newest beverage to grace the Starbucks menu this holiday season is the Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai. The cozy sip is described as boasting the perfect balance of gingerbread notes and chai spices. The Oleato line of olive oil-infused drinks also has a new offering for customers with the introduction of the Oleato Gingerbread Oatmilk Latte.
Additionally, returning favorites to this year’s menu include the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte.
