Taylor Swift fans are certainly a crafty bunch. And as creative as Swifties may be when it comes to fan art, nothing could have prepared us for this viral cake that’s been setting social media ablaze.
Created by @cakesbynams, a Toronto-based cake decorator who specializes in “burnaway cakes,” the Taylor Swift burn cake gone viral on TikTok.
In the video, which has received over 15 million views, the top of the cake is lit on fire, slowly revealing an image of Taylor from her Eras Tour. With its jet-black frosting and shiny disco balls, the cake is quite stunning even without the burn effect.
Unsurprisingly, the comments section of the video is filled with praise for the “incredible” and “iconic” cake.
“I would pay any amount of money for this,” one user on TikTok revealed.
“The way my jaw hit the floor,” another person chimed in.
Whether it was deliberate or not, a number of people were impressed by the flame reaching Taylor’s hand at just the right moment.
“THE WAY IT SIZZLED INTO HER HAND TOO LIKE SHES USING WITCH FIRE POWERS STOP THAT’S SO COOL,” said one shocked fan.
