We’re exactly one week away from

Thanksgiving, and the queen of the holiday just dropped a bombshell we never could have ever expected. During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Martha Stewart announced that she has canceled her Thanksgiving dinner. We know, we know. Absolutely shocking.

The television host and cookbook author declared that she’s quite literally “turkeyed out” after cooking over a dozen turkeys for various appearances in recent days.

“Oh, I gave up Thanksgiving. I canceled,” Martha said. “Nine guests canceled because somebody got sick. So I called up my chef friend and I said, ‘We’re not doing Thanksgiving.’ And I’ve also cooked like 14 turkeys already for my TV show. And I still think I have to do one more turkey for the Today show. So forget it. I am turkeyed out.”

This is Martha Stewart we’re talking about here, so even though she won’t be hosting this year, she has plenty of options. In fact, she’s got at least five of them lined up.

“I made a plan. Friends, of course, invited me to their homes. So I’m going to about five different homes to taste different courses,” she said during her appearance on the show.

In addition to crashing a few dinners this Thanksgiving, Martha will have the chance to cook a holiday-inspired brunch for two lucky fans this weekend at her New York farmhouse. The once-in-a-lifetime visit is part of an experience Booking.com made available on their website this week.
