Resurfaced tweets are typically a recipe for cancellation,

so when I heard Travis Kelce’s old social media activity was making headlines, I was worried—if anything, for my girl, Taylor. Luckily, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end remains an unproblematic king.

The internet did what it does best and unearthed Kelce’s college tweets. Not only are they unproblematic, but they’re as endearing and wholesome as it gets.

“happy easter to all!!! #shoutout to Jesus for takin one for the team…. haha” Kelce wrote in April 2010.

“I just gave a squirle a peice of bread and it straight smashed all of it!!!! I had no idea they ate bread like that!! Haha #crazy,” he wrote in another tweet.

Among the now-viral social media posts, Kelce shared his passion for chain restaurants—ah, stars! They’re just like us.

“Up at Olive Garden with papa!! Had to grab the Fettucini with the Chicken Alfredo!! #shmackin,” he tweeted.

“Went from class to therapy, now I need some #chipolte and then I’m off to check out my new apt,” he wrote in another.

“Bout to get some Taco Bell!!! then hit everyone up, n see whats poppin tonight.”

Naturally, Olive Garden, Chipotle, and Taco Bell are chiming in for their 15 minutes of fame. “It’s a love story, baby just say ‘when,'” Olive Garden replied on Twitter, 12 years late. T-Bell added, “karma is a crunchwrap coming straight home to me.” And Chipotle said, “It’s me, hi.”

Chipotle credited its team of “in-house Swifties” for the hilarious response. “When Travis Kelce’s old tweets referencing the brand started resurfacing on X [formerly Twitter], we knew there was an opportunity for us to organically engage in an authentic way,” vice president of external communications Erin Wolford told Newsweek

Taco Bell and Olive Garden aren’t the only ones trolling Kelce over the tweets. The entire internet has joined in.

“Every Travis Kelce tweet is like dam! dinner tastes awsome when your hurngy! but it makes u so full,” one user wrote. “Travis Kelce is experiencing the most positive possible version of the internet digging up your tweets from 2011,” another said.
