After putting together a big

brunch and opening gifts all morning, it’s likely you will have worked up an appetite on Christmas. If you want something a little more low-key than an elaborate meal, or something easy for lunch before digging into you dinner feast, you may be wondering if some of your favorite pizza chains, like Domino’s, are open on December 25.

Most Domino’s locations are independently owned and operated, which means each restaurant decides its holiday hours. Domino’s stores aren’t required to stay open on Christmas, so hours will vary.

With that in mind, your safest bet is to call ahead to see what their plans are for the holidays this year. Giving them a call beforehand is much better than craving a cheesy bread or lava cake before ensuring you can get your hands on one when you want it. Once you have your answer, you can adjust your plans accordingly—like making sure you ditch the gingerbread cookies to be sure you saved enough room for those lava cakes I mentioned.

If your local Domino’s is closed, there are still some restaurants open on Christmas. And if none if these sound good, there are always leftovers. We have plenty of ideas for using up leftover mashed potatoes, ham, cranberry sauce, and prime rib.
